Comedian Wanda Sykes helped make this video for the Think B4 You Speak campaign aimed at stopping young folks from saying “that’s so gay” when refering to something ugly/dumb/stupid/etc.
Personally, I prefer the term “That’s such a hinderance to effective sphincter control!!”, but what are the odds of that catching on?

According to IESB.net, a musical based upon the web-slinging superhero may be hitting the stage as early as 2009:
“The production, based on the popular comic book and movie character, has been in the works for the past three and a half years, Maisel said Monday at the Thomas Weisel Consumer Conference in New York. And commented that they hope to have the show up and running as soon as 2009.”
In fact, Broadway stalwart Julie Taymor has been linked to the production for about a year already and in the meantime The Edge & Bono, of U2 fame, have already completed the score!
Although this has “Box Office Disaster” written all over it, that’s pretty much what they’ve been saying about Xanadu. Oh wait, Xanadu’s closing earlier than expected. Bad example.
